"They came home from Roxy's zooted like a mug." Talking Hip- Hop & Urban slang using the "izz" sound A very intricate part of using and talking Hip-Hop and Urban "street" slang is the ability to alter the pronunciation of words by adding additional sounds or syllables. This system of word change allows users the opportunity to converse covertly around people who are unfamiliar with this tongue twisting kind of speech. As you will learn, by adding the "izz" sound you can change the pronunciation of a word, while retaining the meaning or context in which you are using the word. This unique system of altering the sound of a word can be used whether using Hip-Hop and Urban slang or using proper English words, the meaning of the word always stays the same. I have chosen the "izz" sound for this book because it is the most commonly used and heard variation spoken among young people who speak Hip-Hop and Urabn "street" slang. Because there is no absolute structural standard that can explain this word altering system, the attempt to explain this system in terms of consonants, compound words, double consonants, or when and whether something is proper or not proper would onlyconfuse you. By following the examples set forth in this section you will learn how to use this system fluently and with ease. Going from single word usage to conversing in whole sentences. On the following pages you will find a list of words in their original form then followed by the altered hybrid form of the word and a contextual demonstration using the altered word. : back (bizz-ack)........I hope you got my bizzack on this. time (tizz- ime)........There's not enough tizzime. This simple, easy-to-read, easy-to-follow beginners guide and list of words will familiarize you with and help you develop a large vocabulary of other words using this system in a short period of time. Allowing you to covertly converse or eaves-drop on those who are using this type of coded jargon. Note: Keep in mind, some words don't work with this system of altering words so if the word you are trying to alter doesn't have certain pronounceability that comes so easy with other altered words, then don't use this system for that particular word. This book is the blueprint for that success. For those incarcerated or formerly incarcerated, Changin' Your Game Plan offers hope that one can in fact turn their life around and go on to live a positive life after prison. For those living the „street life, thug life, and gang life' Changin' Your Game Plan is a warning signal on a road to self-destruction. BE WARNED! THIS IS NOT A GAME! By using my experiences before, during, and after my incarceration I hope anyone who reads this book will see the possibilities that exist when you begin CHANGIN' YOUR GAME PLAN! From Incarceration 2 Incorporation From Incarceration 2 Incorporation is about the powerful journeys of two men who once lived lifestyles which send too many young men and women to prison or the graveyard. It is a heart-felt story about how two individuals refused to let society dictate their future in spite of their past. J.M. Benjamin, once considered a threat to his community served over 12 years total in state and federal prison. Randy Kearse, called a menace to society by the judge who gave him 15 years in federal prison served 13 years, 6 months, and 2 days. Combined they have given the system nearly 30 years of their lives. Meeting months prior to their release from confinement, they both possessed a strong determination, passion, and drive to succeed. With statistics showing that 1 in 3 ex-offenders will return to prison within three years after being released, Mr. Benjamin and Mr. Kearse vowed not to become a part of that statistic. Now, merely three years out of prison themselves, these men have proven that SUCCESS is attainable after incarceration. STREET TALK: Da Real Grimy "ish Coming 2012 Keepin' it gangsta, gully, and real, there are parts of the Hip-Hop and Urban slang vernacular that is extremely offensive, disrespectful, and explicit to say the least. Failing to acknowledge this, STREET TALK would fall a little short in its claim to be th "OFFICIAL" dictionary and guide for the Hip-Hop and Urban slang language. This grimy part of the language which many people disapprove of, is spoken just as frequently and fluently as the verbiage found in this book. The publisher felt it necessary to omit the grimiest of the grimiest context in an attempt to balance the book's authenticity against content that directly offends anyone's gender, race, sexual preference, or ethnicity. On the "streets" we know "it is what is" and the griminess is also a intricate part of how we communicate and interact with each other. So in order to guarantee that STREET TALK: Da Official Guide to Hip-Hop & Urban slanguage is recognized as the one and only "OFFICIAL" slang language guidebook, I'm put together a supplemental version titled, STREET TALK: Da Real Grimy "ish" This version is a compilation of all the slang too obscene to print. STREET TALK : Da Real Grimy "ish"is the icing on the cake for Hip-Hop & Urban slang language. It will be available 2012 About the Author Randy "Moe Deezy" Kearse demonstrates that he has his finger on the pulse of Hip-Hop and Urban culture in many ways. With STREET TALK he brings life and legitimacy to a language many people find hard to understand. Born and raised in the griity streets of Brooklyn, N.Y., he uses his intimate knowledge and many experiences with the elements which often contribute to Hip- Hop & Urban "street" language as a means to decipher it. Convicted in 1992 of a Federal Drugconspiracy, he spent several years of the 15 year prison sentence working on STREET TALK. Being exposed to people from all over the country gave way to being able to document the creative slangs from many different places. From an early age his verbal aptitude has allowed him to standout amongst his peers, which often led him to take on the role of a urban "slanguist" when explaining the intricacies of using Hip-Hop and Urban slang language. Moe Deezy provides Hip-Hop with its 5th element, along with Dj'ing, Break-dancing, Graffiti and Ryming, now there's the use of Slanguage.
