Frequently Asked Questions
What does "turn your tests into testimony" mean?
The trial as the setup for the story — the church has always said nobody gets a testimony without a test. What tried you will teach somebody else; that's the whole exchange. It's for the overcomers with something to tell.
Is this a religious statement?
It has church roots, but the message is universal. "Testimony" here means the story of what you survived — and how it can carry someone else through theirs. Faith-flavored, not faith-gated: the overcomer energy translates.
What makes this a good gift?
A ready-made encouragement gift — for the one walking out of a hard season — that says "keep going" without a card. Recovery milestones, new beginnings, fresh chapters: it honors survival. Give it to someone whose story matters.
Where can I wear this?
New beginnings, recovery milestones, encouragement seasons, everyday inspirational wear. It's a quiet declaration for loud victories. Wear it like the proof it is.
How should I style this?
Soft and strong — the message is tender and tough, so easy fits work best. Clean casual, gentle tones, comfortable layers. Let the testimony speak; the outfit just frames it.
Every Statement Has a Cultural Source
Street Talk Designs is rooted in documented hip-hop and urban street language. OG Randy, born and raised in Brooklyn, spent years documenting the language of the culture in Street Talk: Da Official Guide To Hip-Hop and Urban Slanguage. Some designs use documented slang; others draw from the broader cultural territory of humor, family, faith, personality, and everyday expression.
